This body of work is rooted in attention and connection and speaks to the transient nature of material, image, and memory. Through these textile wall pieces and woven sculptural works, I explore how the landscape is not only observed but absorbed—into fiber, into body, into practice—and how making can become a site for attunement, reciprocity, and return. 

I forage, gather, sort, soak, grind, boil, steep, and strain plant materials to coax color from place. I dye cloth and thread, allowing variations, irregularities, and shifts in tone to remain visible as records of time and touch.

Working with locally sourced dyes, I engage in an embodied practice that draws from ancestral knowledge systems - ways of making that are carried through hands, through memory, and through lived experience. The resulting works hold these accumulations: the season of harvest, the mineral content of water, the duration of immersion, the subtle negotiations between material and maker.

Incorporated photographic images, printed onto fabric, act as another layer of temporal inscription. These images are fragments of landscape, traces of presence, and another form of foraging. They are combined with dyed fabric, where they are softened, obscured, and recontextualized.
