Through these textile wall pieces and woven sculptural works, I explore how the landscape is not only observed but absorbed—into fiber, into body, into practice—and how making can become a site for attunement, reciprocity, and return. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI forage, gather, sort, soak, grind, boil, steep, and strain plant materials to coax color from place. I dye cloth and thread, allowing variations, irregularities, and shifts in tone to remain visible as records of time and touch.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWorking with locally sourced dyes, I engage in an embodied practice that draws from ancestral knowledge systems - ways of making that are carried through hands, through memory, and through lived experience. The resulting works hold these accumulations: the season of harvest, the mineral content of water, the duration of immersion, the subtle negotiations between material and maker.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIncorporated photographic images, printed onto fabric, act as another layer of temporal inscription. These images are fragments of landscape, traces of presence, and another form of foraging.
